Prices and availability of locally produced and imported medicines in Tanzania

This report summarizes the results of a pilot survey undertaken in Tanzania to measure and compare the price and availability of locally produced and imported medicines. The survey used a draft methodology developed by Health Action International (HAI) and the World Health Organization (WHO), adapted from the WHO/HAI tool to measure medicine prices and availability.1
